Diamond - My 2nd Pit Bull rescue....Great story
by Shelby
I rescued Diamond in January 18th, 2005. She was a little over a year old. She was 29 lbs, (starved obviously), beaten, abused, neglected, etc etc. I literally stole her from the apartment she was in. She was crated 24-7, got in trouble for doing her business in the crate. She was NEVER let outside. I was tipped of her existance from a former manager. She "became" available when her so called keepers ran from the law. It was her & another 10 week old pup. My mgr briefly told me the story & asked if I would take the pup. My immediate response was what about the older dog?? Pups are easier to give away....I took Diamond. Fast forward to 2011. Diamond is the Biggest sweetheart, lover of animal & human kind. I put a lot of work & TLC into her. It was well worth it......She is awesome despite the fact of her history. People could learn from the disposition of Bullies. Diamond could be mean, ferocious, etc & rightly so, BUT instead, she is the biggest 70 lb lap dog anyone could have!!! I love her dearly & would walk through Fire for this sweet baby...I Love you Diamond.....You can check her FB page... Diamond Dawgette is the name.....
