My wife fought with me for years about a pitbull in the house because of what she heard. Before I over-rode her decision last year she had no idea. Now she is one of the breed's biggest defenders. There's nothing wrong with the breed, it's what you choose to do with it.

Like any creature in life if you give it plenty of love, feed according to weight and needs and don't neglect or abuse your pitbull you will always have a happy pitbull.

Remember they are very smart and learn what you teach them. Teach them to be nice yet protective then they will. You try to train them to fight and protect they are going to hurt somebody and cost you a lot of money.

I'm around big strange dogs all day long. They don't respect fear and will attack to prove point. Keep that in mind and protect the breed and they will protect you
