How to Sleep with a Bulldozer

This is our Bulldozer, Dozer, for short! He is 2 years old and he is the perfect family dog, as most pit bulls are. He loves his master, Joe, our 2 year old son. When Joe sleeps, Dozer sleeps, and never more than a foot away. Dozer shares all of Joe's food. Joe shares all of his toys.

I have complete trust that our puppy loves our son with all of his heart. And although we know Joe loves his "doggie" he is still learning how to properly act toward him. Dozer is very patient, if Joe steals the dog's toy, Dozer lets him. If Joe reaches his hand into Dozers food dish and grabs a handful, Dozer backs off, waits for Joe to throw it and then goes and eats it off the floor.

When Dozer is quietly laying down for a nap, and Joe decides to jump on his back, Dozer lays there still and waits for Joe to get up. He lays down and lets the other dog smell him, he is especially well behaved with little dogs. He sits when strangers approach and want to pet him.

Other than stealing food from anywhere he can find it, i.e. dinner left unattended on the stove.......he is the best dog I have ever owned.
