I Dream of Posie

I adopted Posie, a Pit Bull mix, in August from Smilin Pitbull Rescue. This rescue saved her and her 11 puppies, (nicknamed Posie's Peaches), from a shelter in Georgia. They brought them to their North East based rescue, where they got great care from all the wonderful volunteers. I was searching Petfinder to adopt a dog, when I found Posie's posting.

With her posting was also the story of her and her pup's long journey, and how well they were all progressing in their foster homes. Her story melted my heart and along with her sweet little face, I knew she was the one!

Now that my family and I have her, we can't imagine life without her! She brings so much joy to our home. Posie is such a loving dog and everyone that meets her just adores her.
I thought the Genie costume suited her because she has black "eyeliner" around her eyes that makes her look so mysterious!

The most important reason she should win though is because she is the most perfect dog we could ever wish for!
