Joey Davis 4 years Old
by KD
Joey was a rescue pit bull. She was found wandering one of the major highways in North Dallas when she was about 3 months old. She was fostered by a Veterinarian with other dogs and cats. We got her around 10 months of age. She has since become well adjusted and is very loving. She has play dates with other dogs and is very patient with them, even the smaller dogs. She is a good dog and has a loving family and lots of human and animal friends. She even sleeps with us and wants to be wherever we are. Joey has even rescued 2 baby Blue Jays and brought them to me without any harm and I put them back in their nest. That was pretty amazing and I had other people with me who saw it, too, and were very amazed. I know pit bulls have a bad rap. I do believe it is how you raise them, just as you would a child. Love and patience and trust is what is needed. I do know that all dogs, including the bull dog breeds have different personalities and some have bad tempers and quickly become overly aggressive or are just mean, just like a lot of people.
