Tiny is my fur niece, she is about eight and a half and has been staying with us since September 09. Her owner is in the military and was deployed. When she returned from active duty, she was forced to move to a rental condo with her then nine year old daughter.

Her work as an ER nurse, single parent, student and military career gave her little time to provide the care she wished for this lovely lady. Because she wasn't spayed, and had a health scare, my devoted niece spayed her and then she came to stay with us.

We adore her and she gets along well with every human, young and old, and every dog she meets. She is super active, runs like the wind, is so obedient, loving and sweet and has made great friends with our Golden Retriever.

Tiny participates in my daily dog camp, goes everywhere with us, and is mostly always polite. She does guard our van when in the parking lot for a short time (always with windows down safely, never in warm weather, and only for a short time and in view of me.)

We are always getting compliments about her calm and sweet personality and she is always polite.

Unfortunately, the downside has been that we are subject to the prejudice this breed has been known to be on the other end of. It's shocking to me that even after meeting her and spending time with her, people tell me that "she will turn on us."

We love Tiny and are honored to be her home away from home for however long it lasts. She is loved by her owners, and by extended family. She exercises for hours everyday and brings joy to us.
