Maggie is adorable!

Maggie looks so much more like a lab than a pitbull, at least in this pic! I think she is absolutely gorgeous & looks really friendly. I just adopted this past June a dog who is the same combination as your Maggie but i'd have to say she looks more pit but is super sweet like a lab. I've never owned a purebred dog of any kind, so i can't say myself the disposition of a pit but everyone seems to say they're sweet! I am happy you gave a home to a dog that may have not gotten one due to her mix. It's really sad that so many can't see that any dog can be vicious. Most of the time, i'm more scared of a little dog! Give your girl a hug from a fellow dog lover--i love them so much. (My dog is Angel (from Wisconsin), if you want to look her up!)

Some things are ment to be!

We had the same experience when we got our pit from a shelter... they said he was an "American Bulldog-Mix puppy", when we went to visit he was a 9 month old full blooded pit!! We couldn't be happier but I'm pretty sure they just tell you what you want to hear so they can find a home!
