Mercedes

I adoped Mercedes from the Butte County Animal Shelter in California three and a half years ago. The coordinator felt she was a very special dog.

She'd been there for six months and the coordinator wanted to find her a forever home before she moved on to another job in just two weeks.

Guess I was there on the right day. I'm a senior and thought she might me a little too much for me to handle, but as soon as she jumped in the passenger seat of my truck and looked like she owned it, I knew everything would be okay.

She loves me as well as other dogs and people. Mercedes was six years old in October. She gets the best of care and hopefully we will have a long, healthy, happy life together.
