I have the same plan..A Pit Bulls rescue (and for whatever other breeds and "mutts" will cross my way)
It's a darn shame how Pitties and other breeds get abused by ignorant people that have to measure the size of their manhood on how mean and cruel they can be to dogs..

I hope in about 2 years I can start my rescue..In the mean time, I just do what I have been doing, take the strays home with me, get them healthy and happy again, and find a new home..I can't save them all, but at least I can do what I can to save some...
