It doesn't matter what type of dog u have.any dog can bite.I think its how you train a dog and how much you do with them--have them around kids and other animals.

Its not hard to train a pit, just remember they are family dogs and not for fighting or watch dogs. If you want a watch dog you should get a watch dog.

I have always had pits all my life and my family still has pit bulls. I trained one and gave it to my grandmother who is 68 and the dog is wonderful with her. and one day a cop shot it when i have taking him outside why would ppl do this to any dog all cause it was a pit? Well guess what my dog wasn't trying to bite it was trying to use the bathroom.

My family has owned about 10 pits my whole life and they all was wonderful dogs.never bitten anyone great with kids and older people. Again its how you train them.

I would never own any other dog but a bully breed. Think about it if it wasn't for michael vick and all the other stupid ppl in the world you would think pits was great. There are a lot of dog trainers out there who own more then one pit--shorty rescue, ceasar milan,
