Savage's story. :)

My mom and I had originally went to the shelter to look for a Husky, but we left with a pit bull.

When I first saw Savage it was horrible. He was emaciated, scared & just adorable to me. I instantly loved him.

He's only a year old, and they didn't know what he was mixed with. He'd been there for a month, and they said that he was surrendered to the shelter.

Whoever had him at first, starved him, beat him, used him as a bait dog, and a fighting dog. He has scars, ALL over his body. He's scared, of everything. I picked a box up the other day to move it, and he ran away.

They surrendered him because he wouldn't fight back. They didn't want him, because he wouldn't fight.

He was terrified of the car, so he sat on my lap the entire ride home, and he still sits on my lap while in the car, yes pit bulls are so vicious right? WRONG.

This is, by far the sweetest, and most loving dog I have EVER seen in my life. He sleeps with me, every night. He hugs me, HE HUGS ME. He LOVES other dogs, constantly plays with my male Australian Cattle Dog, and he LOVES the snow.

I would LOVE to see someone say my dog is dangerous, because I would rage. I will never regret the day I spent my Christmas money on this dog, because he is amazing.
