Turner-saurus
by Michelle Paschal
This is Turner. Turner was adopted from a no-kill shelter in Atlanta in Jan. 2007. At that time he had been waiting for home for almost 3 years!! He is one of the sweetest dogs i have ever met. He was more than likely used for fighting as he was in terrible shape when he came to the shelter. Despite his rough past, this boy never meets a stranger, human, canine or feline! He loves them all! Turner is a true advocate for his breed and even filled in as a blood-donor for a very sick fellow pitbull-girl at the shelter. He successfully battled mast-cell-cancer last year. We live in GA and we drove him to AL every couple of weeks for tests, treatments, etc. Even painful procedures like a bonemarrow biopsy didn't get this gentle soul roused up. He quickly became a fav at the Auburn University Animal Hospital. He lives w/us, two bully sisters, one lab sister and soon also a little human baby-sister in Warner Robins, GA.
